On day 10 of our trip, we had a nightmarish journey wonderful time flying home with our two trouble makers little angels. To avoid getting you all jealous about how much fun we had, let’s not get into the details.
Instead, the final installment of the Hou Family’s 2015 UAE & India trip report will be a collection of random pictures that we took throughout the trip.
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Who doesn’t want to shop at a strange store?
The other Emirates Palace, hidden in the alleys of Al Baskatiya.
This Chinese restaurant ad featured a chick who was clearly putting chopsticks in her hand for the very first time.
The modern architecture was among my favorite things about the UAE. Any random building along the roads could have been an eye candy. In comparison, the midtown Manhattan skyline seems rather boring.
Good to see a familiar face in the Dubai Mall.
This was probably the more correct spelling of boba.
Ladies and gentlemen, the airline of my family.
Luxury is all about considerate amenities for all your possible needs. Just in case you want to toss an entire suitcase away the moment you arrive at the airport, DXB’s got you covered.
Camel milk milk chocolate. We bought $300 worth a few of these.
Did I not say the UAE was in some ways more American than the United States? What can possibly be more American than a Mega Mac? (a beef version was available, too)
INDIA
Another familiar face was greeting us from up there.
Chinese fast food in a town where Chinese people were nonexistent.
Street food being cooked up.
Relax!
More street food vendor.
Apple Boss.
FLIGHT HOME
We flew over the North Pole!
According to this map, we went around the world several times on the way home to San Francisco.
The End! Thanks for following our journey!
